3D Modeling Human Icon






another project require walking 3d humanoid walkscyle, so i try using different pipeline.
3Ds Max for the base model, Sclupt in Zbrush, later we animate at 3DsMax, hopefully will be good result.

TIPS to make easy scrub on timeline After Effect

Rather than render it all in pre-comp, i always render it to TGA Sequence or Quicktime (PhotoJPG), then i import it back to Project Folder, then replace using ALT, targeting on timeline AE, at this way, it's make easier to scrub the timeline, somehow AE like using half detecting TGA seq more easier rather than using pre-comp.
This going to getting make a lot of space in your HDD, but I prefer this way, anyway I can used it the Sequence in other day, let say i make another mograph in future.

This method is one of my ways of doing it, to workingon slow machine, and low spec, the benefit it's more stable and reduced the " MBEEEK" sound (*error redndering on AE).


Handling a lot Polygon-Precision 390, getting unstable






Been long time not pushing the machine (precision 390) on win7, is one of the best part
still worry about the crash running on 3ds Max 2011, i try to put all Hi-Poly on an opening bumper for music program. but this time I only wanna test it with Mental Ray, Final gather 1500 and, exposure effect. No tight DOF... so yeah, sucseed, the project is done, although i combine with some old template, but i quite happy about it, made it on 4 days, revision for ending logo for about 3 days, then Print to tape...yeah!! here's the still shoot :
